Marine Officer or Enlisted?

Hi I need some help picking officer or enlisted. I know i want to be a marine.that is that. but i cant choose Between officer and enlisted because i don't really care which one i end up in. At first i was leaning torward officer because the pay is higher and as a 2n lieutenant you are a platoon commander for 2 years which is awesome. but at the end of that you could end up stuck with paperwork. for me paper work really isn't that bad. what kind of work do they do as a officer?. then i was leaning torward enlisted because money isn't everything (im a very strong believer of that) and you can start out as a private which goes out on the field more for small tasks or combat. but i only want to be in the military a limited number of years (like 4). getting promoted takes a long time unless your really good. so 4 years might not be long enough to reach NCO. is it? also i cant decide between going to college for 2 years then joining enlisted or 4 years for officer. if its 2 years then ill probably be 20 and join with only a year or so of Living as a civilian adult . while 4 years gives me enough time to get a job and live for a while before joining. so to me it doesn't matter. what are your opinions? and if you can will you tell me the steps to be a marine officer? all i know is to start at NROTC in college. ps i know i have leadership skills. i have proved that to myself.
