Macbook or dell inspiron 15z ....please help me choose?

im not sure of what exactly to purchase but ive narrowwed down my search to these two...i live in india and theres an istore over here that sells that macbook fr 1000 dollars, and gives you 12 % off if you are a college student...now they also offer emi payments ,but its 10% for 12 months....im interested in buying it in emi..now the dell inspiron barely comes up to 650 dollars and it also runs on an i3 or an i5,while the macbook runs on a core 2 duo..im planning to get it after a year and i really wantt to knw if any of you know if apple introducing a new processor in the macbook or if the price will be reduces.....please help me choose
