The ancient civilizations of Egypt and Sumeria can be considered to be very different being worlds apart. However, one could examine the architecture and find several similar characteristics, along with similarities in their political and social structures. Perhaps these similarities were what gave them the power to be a pair of the longest lasting civilizations in world history.
