No clue, and no idea why they would. Ask yourself why the United States(bill clinton) would want to trade with China? It is politics and is about control. China and other countries have so many loans out to us! We have sold land to pay off a fraction of our debt. When everyone stayed in-sell within their own country, this world was a better place. It will never work if you trade with other countries. No matter how you look at it, different countries have different prices for things. So what does this do to the traders? This causes us to pay triple for what they have and they only pay twice the price for our products. We eventually owe them money which in fact has went up to (I believe) 20 trillion for the US. In 1963 the Unites States had a 20 million dollar surplus(people owed us money). Well after Vietnam we went down to around 5 million. Now, five million doesn't sound like much but today that would most likely be somewhere around 1 or 2 trillion. And then after Desert Storm we ended up in even more debt..Now since then we have been ok. But then Clinton came into office and started the Free Trade Act and cost us the economy and lots and lots of money. The amount of money that we owe, which is way past my understanding and way to much to think about, is going to take 30 years to pay off...now Obama wants to try health care and that is the exact opposite of what he should be doing. We can't afford the war we need to leave, we have less jobs and cant afford any more taxes, and our children are at stake. Now I know you just asked about Iraq and Africa, but I needed to vent.
